Be Mature

Assalamualaikum... =)

Lately I've been reflecting (again). Well that's good right? One of the 10 Principles in Islamic Management is to exercise self-criticism periodically. This is the Control step in management right? So, I'm trying to do some controlling in managing myself in order to become a better person.

Wah, I still remember my management stuffs! One of the best class ever since I entered UiTM. Thank u Miss Rita!

Now, it seems that I've not invested my time well enough. Majority of it goes to watching Korean dramas (Rooftop Prince!) and crying while watching the dramas unnecessarily. I know that I'm wasting so many precious times on the dramas but I couldn't help it. Hehe. Rooftop Prince is just so awesome!! So, after checking my schedule for the rest of the semester, then only I notice I don't have much time left. Even after taking intersession last sem break, I still think that I don't have enough time. Huhu. Probably have to start performing Dhuhaa prayer ritually to feel 'lapang'. ^^"

Right now moving on to the topic of this post, 'Be Mature'. Now, what I really wanna refer to is being mature in friendship. I've experienced once where one of my friends getting angry and not talking to each other for a few days due to petty little things. This, is definitely childish. Just because you couldn't get things your way doesn't mean that you can start stomping your feet and starts to give these sidelong glances. So here, I wanna stress out to victims-of-childish-friends-who-likes-to-lash-out-on-insignificant-stuff to be PATIENT with friends like these. Don't fight back if u can help it really. Cuz, the moment u start saying things back, you'll be acting immature as well.

So yeah, I know, I'm rambling but I just need to get this out of my system. "ALINA, patience is virtue."

Cheers.

Of Teen Top Niel, Dentist, Mawar, Haircut and Iftar

I was in the bus and when I looked down to the bus receipt on my lap, then only I remember something.

It's 16th of August.

It's Niel's Birthday!!

Whoa, my favourite boy! The dongsaeng that made me basically obsessed with Teen Top.

Oh Niel, u're now 18 and legal! Kekeke..

***

Okay so this morning, I went to Mawar first thing in the morning to confirm about the lodgings. They said by 16th, everybody must not be in kolej anymore. But how la me? My flight ticket is on the 18th. I need to stay till 18th morning. Huhu. So when I told them my predicament, the pegawai was like, "Why did you bought your ticket that late?". Mind you, his left eyebrow was arched; like he was suspicious why I wanna return late.

"But, it's a flight ticket. I can't change that." I said meekly.

Then there was a unison of "Oh" by the rest of the office people and a puan said, "Where are you from? Sabah? Sarawak? It's okay then, write down your name here and we'll send your name up to the Unit Keselamatan, alright."

So fuhh, that one is selesai. Berkat bulan Ramadhan ni.

Next, I was waiting for Hannah to go and see Mr. Adib together about the catering receipt thing. While waiting, I received a text from Hannah telling me to go to Pusat Kesihatan first. And so I went to PK to see the dentist regarding that exposed tooth root of mine.

Over at the dentist, they told me I had abrasion cavity. What's that? Hmm.. It's due to me brushing my teeth so hard till the gums receded and the dentin/tooth root got exposed.

Picture from ismile.com.my

No wonder I recently always feel those sharp pain everytime I eat sweet stuff. I never knew teeth can also be sensitive to sweet stuff too. The common one I heard is sensitive to cold stuff. Heh.

Well, the dentist went to put some fillings on the exposed tooth root and walla, done. But yang me tak puas hati before that is.. you see the pic below?

Picture from mostphotos.com

Org dah cakap nyilu. The exposed root tu, NYILU. Yang me x paham, the dentist pgi lagi poke my root with that sharp pointed hook thing like in the picture. Apu, sakit nya, Allah ja la tahu. Haish. I know, I know procedures but what outcome she intended to see from poking me root? To see if my leg terangkat and my eyes squeeze shut kah just to confirm the pain? Haiyo.

So got my filling and went back to Mawar. After that met up with Hannah at the bus stop to send the receipt at APB. Then went to sect 7 to get a haircut!!

Excited ni, so I went to the shop yg x charge extra if the hair is over the waistline. Then jumpa la this kedai. Boleh tahan la rupa. But then when we masuk, tgk2 takda the worker inside. Cuma ada these 2 customers waiting at the seats. I looked inside the shop and me and Hannah gave each other weird looks. Mana orang kedai ni?

Then I looked at the other 2 customers and they laughed. "Pelik kan?" One of them said. She had this tomboyish aura emitting. "Kitorang pun pelik. Dah tunggu lama tapi takde org. Dah tengok2 dah dalam tu pun takde."

Fuyoh. I thought. Beraninya manusia ni tinggalkan the shop macam tu ja. Pintu x kunci plak tu. Me and Hannah already exited the shop when we saw the person went back in the shop. Rupa2nya she went to buy lunch. ^^" ohhh..

So we went in and we waited for my turn (cuz there's only one person manning the shop that day). When it was my turn, she brought me to the closed section and when I took off my tudung and exposed my hair, she said I have pretty hair. "Cantik cantik rambut kamu. Orang sekarang semua mau buat rambut macam ini". Apalagi me, kembang kempis la hidung kena puji rambut cantik. Hihi. But then, they have to go cuz they're too long already. Ngee..

So for Iftar, Hannah and I intended to go to The Halal Chinese Restaurant at Sect 7. But then since we're late, (Mawar's gate in front of DC were closed) xda tempat. Last2 Barra also tmpt berbuka. But okay lah. I get to eat the sizzling. Cuma tonight's sizzling was not as good as usual. Idk why. ^^"

Sizzling that has ceased to sizzle

kkoogi! 고기

Then got my dessert from King's. Unfortunately I forgot what this cake is called.  ^^"

Angle 1. Anyone know the name of this cake? I really forgot.

Angle 2

Pretty ne?

Oh no, i dug in it already~

towards the end.

Pretty long entry huh? Hehe.. Well, it's late and I gotta go to bed. Nyte2 people. ^^

After Class Trip!

Assalamualaikum and Salam Sejahtera~ *scratches head sheepishly*

Current music: Fox Rain (Acoustic Version) Lee Sun Hee

Currently starting the day with Fox Rain. What I love about the song is the sounds of gu-zheng (i assume it's gu-zheng). Sharp and gives u the melancholic vibe.

Okay so moving on. I had a fun trip yesterday with Hannah. Right after class, we went to Subang Jaya to redeem that Groupon Hair Cut thing. Hadoii.. This part mmg mengecewakan me. Grr.. I really want and needed to get my hair chopped. It's past my waist and that have to go. I remember my neighbour calling me 'Gumiho' (cuz of the hair la). That one is still okay la. My last semester's roommate said "Macam hantu". Hadoii, itu yg xboleh tahan tu macam hantu. So mmg nak have a haircut la.

So here's the flow:
1. UiTM to Sect. 2. T603. RM1.
2. Sect. 2 to KTM Shah Alam. Mini Bus. RM1.
3. KTM Shah Alam to KTM Subang Jaya. KTM. RM1.
4. KTM Subang Jaya to the hair saloon (shall not be named cuz I'm feeling kind today). Taxi. RM12.
5. Hair Saloon to KTM Subang Jaya. Taxi. RM12.

Grr.. Dah lah I don't have transport. And to get to the saloon, there's no other way than to get cab (as told by my MGT lecturer cuz she live on the other side of the road)

Hadoii, bila wanna pay the taxi driver, bergetaq tangan tu. Mahal erghh. I'm not stingy but I want to pay accordingly. The cab driver doesn't charge by meter. Hence the price. But I was thinking, 'It's okay la, I'm gonna spend quite a time at the saloon too anyway'. Perghh, ney ada~ *whining*

Right after we get to the saloon, they said they got no water. Whaa? No water? So no service today. The heck?? They could've informed me earlier though. I mean, be systematic la. I've made an appointment kan for that day. So the least you could do is like call the people yg made the appointment on that day and tell them before they actually reached the shop that there's disruption in the water supply today so all appointments for the day have to be rescheduled. Simple ne? Haihh.

So, me and Hannah dragged our feet (me only la sbenarnya) and walked out of the saloon. Sedih really cuz I've spent like RM12 and then nak balik KTM another RM12 right. If we do the math, the price altogether can amount up to the prices offered at Shah Alam for all those services I've booked in this SJ hair saloon. Haihh. Sigh sigh~ Money macam air ja hilang.

Next, to cheer ourselves up (me only la sbenarnya), we decided to go to Sogo. Perghhh, gembira terussss. Imagine la, SEMUA on sale! Bags? Shoes? Apparels? Duit ja xda wanna borong the whole shopping mall. Heaven on Earth~ Hehe. So we selongkar2 la the area bag tu and upon seeing all these styles, I made mental notes of the styles I saw and like and to later on find something similar for cheaper prices. Went up to the Women's Apparel floor and Hannah and I went to try out clothes. Seronokkk!

I so love those white jeans, it's really comfortable. I wanted to get it but then when I take a proper look, the pants are quite transparent. I mean, I can see my skin underneath. So terus x jadi. But it's nice!! So I took a black one instead. (beli jugak.. haihh -.-'') And I really love the pink jeans Hannah was wearing! Pretty!!

So after paying for the jeans, we tried out shoes. Whoa, I really love those wedges. Makes you taller and really compliment the curves of your feet. Cuma I don't have the courage yet to wear them. ^^" Maybe next time. And then I'll be on the same height with Hubby! *squeals*

After seronok trying the shoes, then only we went back to reality. Mission: to cari bag laptop. Huhu.. I need a large bag yg can store my laptop and several of my books too. And my current bag, haiyo, tunggu masa lagi nak putus. The bottom dh tinggal urat2 benang dah. Very nazak. So I decided to get a new bag.

So time tgh cari2 tu, I saw this pink laptop bag. Cantik sangattttt! But the thing is it's small. So with my Hannah's advice, being the future-oriented generation of Malaysia, I forgo the pink bag. Instead I got myself a mmg spacious bag la. But nevermind la.. At least the bag is really spacious and I don't have to bring extra hand carry bag when boarding the plane.

We had our Iftar at Sogo's food court. I got myself some Chinese style duck, potatoes and brinjals. Hannah got herself a huge portion of Nasi Kerabu. But the rice's not blue in colour. ^^"

After the trip, was super exhausted and we returned to UiTM at around 11. Whoa.. Penat yg amat. But I had a really fun time with Hannah. So now gotta concentrate on the coming quizzes, tests and presentation. *died*

So that is all folks! Till next time! =D

Haa..?

Whoa, it's been like, what? A year? *sweeps away some dust bunnies*

Anyway, what sent me back here is because I kept the link to this blog on my fav tabs. And when it's time to do some cleaning up (a year due, mind you) I clicked the link and the bloggeh is still alive! Wae..??

I've been considering to shut it down, yea know, like for good. But what the heck, I just couldn't let go. (and it's also becuz I have no idea howsoever to delete this thing). Whaa..?

So updates?

Hmm, currently at Mawar, doing intersession. I'm supposed to be studying now for my upcoming test (tomorrow!) and look, I'm reviving my long-dead blog instead. Grr..

Alryte then. I'm intending to revamp the blog (intending being the operational word) and we'll see how it goes. It'll be slow but hey, at least it's alive, ne?

So here goes nothing. Till next time!
